It’s important to consult your healthcare provider about how specific medications interact with food. For example, some leafy greens and foods high in vitamin K can affect blood thinners. Consistency in intake is key if you're on a blood thinner, you don't need to avoid leafy greens entirely. Grapefruit can also impact the absorption and metabolism of certain drugs. Additionally, salt substitutes, which often contain potassium, can reduce the effectiveness of medications for high blood pressure and congestive heart failure. My goal is to collaborate with you to potentially reduce or eliminate the need for mediation.
